Shrewsbury Open Studios is being organised again by Ann McCay. Studios in and around Shrewsbury will be open the weekend of 5th and 6th of July.

Dear Artist, Applied artist, Designer–maker,
We would be most grateful if you could spare a few minutes of your time to fill in the enclosed
questionnaire.
You may not have heard of VAN, a registered charity run by volunteers, so here is some
information about us.
Our achievements so far include starting the Shrewsbury Arts Festival:
• The International Competition for the Open Art Exhibition,
• Art About town,
• Hall’s Art Auction,
• Open Studios,
and arranging the year-round Galleries in pubs, cafés and restaurants.
The aim of the organisation is to be a support network for artists and designers throughout
Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin and this questionnaire is designed to find out more about what
you need from Visual Arts organisations in the area.
Shrewsbury is in the process of becoming a centre for staging National and International
events with the New Theatre in Frankwell and the refurbishment of the Music Hall that will
include a gallery and sales potential for applied artists.
