Artists Statement

My work is concerned with capturing moments in time and allowing stories to be revealed or created. It also explores the ways in which memory connects time past with the present through emotional connections and fragments recalled. Through the process of printmaking ideas are transformed & new stories created.  I use wood & linocuts, collographs, etchings & digital processes and often mix media to acheive the effects I want. I also make Artists Books.

I trained in Graphic design & Illustration at Camberwell & later gained MA (dist) in Art & Education at UCE. I have taught and run workshops in a variety of therapeutic & community contexts but now focus on my own work.
