I retired early in 2008 to look after my late partner and used to take him to an art class. The tutor said "Why not stay and join in ?". So I did and that is how I started painting again after a break of over 40 years.

I paint mainly in watercolours (so far) and some acrylics. I enjoy the happy accidents and challenges of moving the paint around the paper when it is still wet and the different textures which acrylics can bring.

I have exhibited at Galleries Live and the Gallery Bar at The Place  in Telford and  the Bearsteps Gallery in Shrewsbury and am a member of the Ironbridge Society of Artists and the Lakeside Art Group.
