Bev Horsley

Having qualified as a graphic designer and illustrator I worked for many years as an Art Director in advertising.

Drawing and painting for me is all about experimenting with media with explore colour, light and texture. A move from London to the countryside of beautiful Shropshire has inspired me to paint quirky animal portraits and semi-abstract rural landscapes.  I have also rediscovered the joy and freedom of life drawing.

I exhibit regularly with a group of friends (known as the Bunch of Five) - our current exhibition is at the Market Hall Art Gallery until 21st May.
